Wilmer Horton
August 6, 1944 — February 12, 2015
Wilmer Lee Horton, age 70, of Sparta, TN, passed away February 12, 2015 at his home. Mr. Horton was a member of Eaton Church of Christ and was a lifelong dairy farmer.
He was born in Sparta, TN August 6, 1944 to the late Morgan Smith Horton and the late Zelma Grey Teeples Horton.
Survivors include his daughter, Renae Carter of Sparta; sister, Pat Boatman and husband Howard of Hermitage, TN ; grandchildren, LizAnn Grace Carter and Chasity Leigh both of Sparta; and great grandson, Carter Lee Carter of Sparta. Also a nephew, Todd Boatman and wife Mary of Daphne, AL.
ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral services at Thurman Funeral Home, Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Joe Neal. Interment will follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery. The pallbearers are Todd Boatman, Lloyd Dunn, Ricky Dunn, William B. Crabb, Jim Collins, Mark Dickerson, Terry Richardson and Dustin Alan.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Saturday, February 14, 2015, 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P. M..
