Ms. Jeannie Young Elrod, age 56, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011, in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Ms. Elrod was born November 27, 1954, in Putnam County, Tennessee, to the late Willie Young and Jean McCluskey.
She is survived by her mother, Jean McCluskey; sons, Erick Elrod of Knoxville and Shane Elrod of Sparta; daughter, Michelle Frazier of Crossville; sisters, Janice Rapier, Judy Jones, Janie Payne, June McCluskey; brothers, Donald McCluskey, Daryl McCluskey, Dale McCluskey, George Young, Mark Young, Paul McCluskey, Dan Young and Walter Young; five grandchildren, Katelin Conley, Bailey Davis, Bella Davis, Ethan Frazier and Talon Frazier.
Preceded death by husband, Dennis Lynn Elrod, and brother, Mark Young.
Funeral services will be Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 12:30 P.M. at Thurman Funeral Home in Sparta.
Family will receive friends Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 11:30 A.M. till time of service.
Interment will follow at Saylors Cemetery in White County.
