Wanda Mcghee

Wanda Louise McGhee, age 61, of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away after a four year battle of breast cancer, on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was retired after 40 years of teaching in the White County School System.
She was born May 1, 1950 in White County, Tennessee to Homer Whitley Roberts, Sr. and Bessie Mary Jane Baker Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers, Homer Whitley Roberts Jr., Wilfred Roberts, Hazel Roberts, Dean Roberts, Arrie Mae Jernigan, Joe Roberts and Clarence Vaughn Roberts, Sr. Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, John McGhee of Sparta, TN; son, Jim McGhee with Erica Walker of Cordva, TN; god-daughter, Bre Rollins of Sparta; sisters and brothers, Frances Whitley of Franklin, TN, Will Roberts of Cookeville, TN, Ray Roberts of Rock Island, TN, Charles Roberts of Farmington Hills, MI, Opal Williams, Jeanne Kirby, Harvey Roberts, Fred Roberts, Jim Roberts and Clay Roberts all of Sparta, TN.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Central Church of Christ, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Doyle Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in the Roberts Family Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Central Church of Christ, at 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm.
