Verdena Hutson

Verdena Hutson, age 97 of Sparta Tennessee passed away October 29, 2024 at her son’s home in Erie, MI.

She was born October 20, 1927 in Sparta, TN to the late Charles Aurthur and Cora Pearl Holland.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, James Clifford Hutson; sons, John Hutson, Ron Hutson; granddaughter, Denise Koester; brothers, Thurman Holland, Elmus Holland, Leslie Holland; sisters, Clarkie Davis, Ruby Hardy. 

Verdena is survived by her son, Tom (Becky) Hutson; daughter, Gloria Hankins; brother, Gene Holland; grandchildren, Cheryl (Chris) Sanders, Tommy Hutson, Jessica (Jim) Burgard, Jeffrey Hutson, Jonathon (Barb) Hutson, Dianna Strickland, Rob (Alysia) McNeely, Deb McNeely, Chris Hutson, Jennifer Hutson; 17 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; also, she is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements:

Visitation will be Monday November 4, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. at Thurman Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday November 5, 2024 starting at 1:00 pm at Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Clint Walker. Interment will be at Old Zion Cemetery.
