U. L. Fisher, age 87, of the Tollison Town Community passed away Sunday, October 13th at his home.
Mr. Fisher was born September 8, 1926, the son of William Levi and Polly Herren Fisher in DeKalb County, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 60 years, Modena Tollison Fisher, brother, William "Bud" Fisher.
He is survived by his sons, Gerald Fisher and wife Karla and Roger Fisher all of Sparta; daughter, Unelda Allison and husband Freeman of Baxter; sisters, Fabia Tubb of Sparta, Zelda Swindell of Sparta and Arah Tollison of Michigan; brother, Jackie Fisher and wife Betty of Sparta; grandchildren, Mike Fisher, Kristi Fisher, Chad Fisher, Justin Fisher and Tiffany Fisher; and 9 great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMETS: Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 14th at Thurman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 15th at Thurman Funeral Home 11:00 a.m., with Sonny Welch officiating. Burial will follow at the Carter Cemetery .
