Mrs. Sue Walker, age 71, of Sparta passed away September 5, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Walker was born June 27, 1940 in White County to Olen and Bessie Ponder Murdock. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Walker and sister, Martha Roberts. Survivors include Husband of 51 years, Erby Walker of Sparta; daughters, Kitty Hall of Sparta and fiancAC.'s , B.J. Fehrman of Ridgetop, TN and Connie Walker of Sparta; grandson, Ethan Hall of Sparta; sisters, Doris Henry of OK, Barbara Hale and Nina McBroom both of Sparta; and brothers, Sam Murdock and wife Bonnell, Leonard Murdock and wife Brenda and Eston Murdock and wife Ellen all of Sparta.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Thurman Funeral Home from 6:oo P.M till 8:oo P.M. Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Copeland Chapel Cemetery, with Bro. Freddie Copeland. Burial will follow in Copeland Chapel Cemetery.
