Shirley Trovarelli

May 8, 1933 — October 28, 2018

Shirley Ann Trovarelli 85 of Sparta passed from this life Sunday Oct. 28th after a brief illness.

Born May 8th 1933 in Detroit Michigan she moved to Sparta in 1973.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Luke Trovarelli, Sparta.  Four loving daughters, Janis Goodwin of Thompson Station, Audry (Rich) Fortunato, Beaumont CA, Jackie (Bill) Barloon, Harriman and Dawn Goodwin-Smith of Cookeville. 2 special son in laws, Paul Olson of Sparta and Roger Smith of Cookeville. 3 Step daughters, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Shirley was known and loved by many friends in White County for her kind, giving nature.

She enjoyed cooking and sharing love through food. She owned and operated Liberty Square Market and Deli on the square for over a decade, managed the buffet at KFC for many years and then in retirement, delivered meals to the less fortunate through the Meals on Wheels program.  She never met a stranger and greeted everyone with a smile.

Arrangements:

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 1 pm at First Community Church with Bro. James Hasty officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11 am till time of service 1 pm at First Community Church.
