Sheila Bussell

Sheila Louise Officer Bussell passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at a memory care facility in Troy, Michigan at the age of 89.

Sheila was born in Sparta, Tennessee to Simpson Dudley and Notie Anne (nee Snodgrass) Officer on June 25, 1929.

Sheila is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years George, by her devoted uncle Charles Snodgrass, her mother Notie Anne, her father Simpson Dudley, and her daughter-in-law Karen (nee Hodder).

Sheila is survived by her two sons Charles (Patricia) Bussell and James (Sharon) Bussell and proud grandmother of Kelley and Gregory Bussell.

Sheila was a dedicated teacher’s aide for over 20 years in the Dearborn Public School System.

ARRANGMENTS:

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Thurman Funeral Home with Interment at Highland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers her family suggests contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
