Rosalita Ancar Haston, passed away with family by her side at home on Saturday, December 9, 2017. She was born Thursday, November 29, 1945 to the late John and Regina (Phillips) Ancar in the family home on Grand Bayou, LA.
Rose served as a mighty Sunday School Teacher and laid a firm foundation within the hearts of many children; a powerful Prayer Warrior at which she tithed her time to the Lord; and a talented accordion player. She loved her family with all her might.
Rose is survived by her husband of 26 years, David Rhoton Haston; step-children: Hope (Ian) James and David (Angela) Haston; three siblings: Rev. Bennie (Geraldine) Ancar, Ruby Ancar, and MaryAnn Taylor; nieces & nephews aka children: Donielle, Angelique, Thomas (Tamika), Jean (Deborah), and Gabrielle (Daniel); and five grandchildren: Megan (Alex) Parten, Ethan (Hannah) James, Faith James, Evan James, and Tristan Haston; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Christian Fellowship Church, 2558 Jerry Parker Rd., Sparta, TN on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 6-9 pm; and visitation prior to service on Thursday, December 14th, from 10 am – 1 pm.
Funeral services will be at Christian Fellowship Church, Thursday, December 14th, 2017, at 1 pm. Interment will follow at the Haston Cemetery.
