Mr. Robert "Bob" O'Brien, age 91, of Sparta passed away August 22, 2011 at Life Care Center in Sparta.
Mr. O'Brien was born July 5, 1920 in Elwood, Indiana to Dennis O'Brien and Edna Richardson O'Brien.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jackie O'Brien; and brother, Dennis J. O'Brien. Survivors include Wife, Beulah Clouse O'Brien of Sparta; Daughter, Gloria Centanni of Merrillville, Indiana; Sisters, Margariete Rees Farmington Hills, Michigan and Maureen Settles of Northfield, Michigan; 2 grandchildren, Jeff Centanni and David Centanni; 2 Great Grandchildren, Paul Centanni and Allison Centanni.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 6:30 P.M.In the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home, with Farther John Pantuso, SDS. Burial will follow in Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana.
