Rev. John Hosier
February 26, 1923 — February 6, 2013
Dr. Rev. John Ralph Leon Hosier, age 89, went to meet Jesus at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at NHC of Sparta.
Dr.Rev.Hosier was born to Paul Hosier and Edith Kindred Hosier, February 26, 1923 in White Haven, PA.
Dr. Rev. Hosier was married on September 4, 1977 to Sherolyn A. (Lambert, Hale), he served his country in the United States Army in WW II, also was a minister for over 60 years and was a very Godly man.
He was preceded in death by his parents;wife, Mary Bleouard Long, son Luther Hosier; daughter, Jo Ann Womer sisters, May, Edith, Ruth Grace, Bessie Jones, and Eunice Hosier; brothers, Paul, David, & Leon Hoiser.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sherolyn "Sherry" Ann Hosier of Sparta; children, Joy Kline of PA; Joyce Walters of PA; adopted daughter, Rhonda Parks of Smyrna; sisters, Leona Hosier and Mrytle Vogel both of PA; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral services will be at Thurman Funeral Home, Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Don Garms and Rev. Don Kelly.
Interment will follow in the Old Zion Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Friday February 8, 2013 at 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm.
