Reba Nell Young, age 84, of Sparta, passed away June 6, 2013 at Life Care Health Center. She was born March 11, 1929 in White County, Tennessee to John Noyce Burns and Artha Norris Burns.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Edward Young; ; Brothers, Robert Lee Burns, Thomas Marion Burns, Herbert Braxton Burns, and Charles Noyce Burns, as well as one sister, Edna Ruth Austin.
She is survived by her son, Bill Burns and wife Polly of Sparta, Grandsons: Jonathan Burns and wife Kelley of Memphis, and Matthew Burns of Woodbury. She is also survived by one brother, Henry Morgan Burns of Mt. Carmel, IL., as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends and cousins.
ARRANGEMETS
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. at Thurman Funeral Home, Saturday, June 8, 2013, officiating will be Bro. Derrick Coble. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Thurman Funeral Home from 5:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M.
