Peggy Murphy

Peggy  Marlene Hawkins Murphy, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at home at the age of 72.

Born September 5, 1945 to Lonnie Hawkins and Annie Allen Hawkins in Dayton, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Vestol and Doris Hawkins.

Peggy was retired from Mallory Controls in Sparta.

She was survived by one sister, Patsy (J.T) Bumbalough; husband, Glen Murphy, son, Troy Gore, of Sparta; daughters, Sabrina McPeak and Jonessa (Jason) Gunnels all of Sparta; grandchildren, Lee (Kim) Braswell, Cody Gore, Lindsey Gore, Zander Williford, Jaycie & Alison Gunnels and Nick Young; great grandchildren, Vincent & Veronica Braswell and Deegan Sims. Also several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS

The family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home in Sparta, TN,    Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 4 P.M. until  8 P.M.

Funeral services will be at Thurman Funeral Home, Friday, February 9, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in the Black Oak Cemetery.
