Mrs. Nell Halteman Anderson, age 89, of Sparta, passed away at White County Community Hospital on Monday, November 21, 2011 .
She was born September 18, 1922, in Van Buren County, Tennessee to John C. Halteman and Sena Slatten Halteman She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clyde Anderson, brother, J. C. Halteman, sisters, Ernestine Brown, Elnora Moore, Mary Van Mason, and Jo Ann Mason.. Survivors include daughter: Faye Keen of Nashville, son, William G. Anderson and wife Gloria of Mt. Juliet, as well as four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Thurman Funeral Home from 2:30 P.M till 8:00 P.M. and Friday at Jericho Church of Christ from 9:00 A.M. till time of the service at 11:00 . Funeral service will be held Friday, November 25, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at Jericho Church of Christ, with Bro. Robert Burton. Burial will follow in Jericho Cemetery.
