Nannie Billings

Nannie Mae Billings, age 83, formerly of Sparta, passed away June 20, 2013 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home in McMinniville, Tennessee. She was born September 17, 1929 in Sparta, Tennessee. Her parents were James Lum Cantrell and Mattie Virgie Manning Cantrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe "Tom" Billings; brother, Fred Cantrell; sister, Hannah Mize, and grandchild, Shane Gurgainers.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne Denton Choplosky and husband, Michael of Quebeck, Tennessee; brothers, Stanton, Jim, Edd, and Bobby Cantrell. She is also survived by three sisters, Lum Ellen Mayberry, Mattie Burnett, and Carolyn Copeland. Also surviving are grandchildern, Michael Sean Gurgainers, Robert Cody Gurgainers, and Candelyn Selena Isabeau Burchett as well as great grandchildren, Contessa Rayne Vaughn, Kaitlyn Gurginers, Kamille Gurgainers, Lexi Auna Gurgainers, Kadence Grace Gurgainers, William Robert Gurgainers, Nathan Cody Gurgainers, and Shayla Paige Burchett.
Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 124 East Bockman Way, Sparta, TN. Officiating will be President Glenn Wilson. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the church from 2:00 p.m. until time of service ar 4:00 p.m.
