Maxine Allen

December 28, 1932 — August 17, 2019

Bonnie 'Maxine' Allen passed away on August17th.  She was born in Sparta Tennessee to Homer Kinnard and Elizabeth Johnson on December 28, 1932.  She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Ceba Ann Kinnard and her husband, William Bryan Allen and two sons, William Bryan and Max Christopher.  She is survived by her brother, Stanton Kinnard and four children  - Bill Allen and his wife Amy of Atlanta Ga;  Martha Allen and her husband, Stan Allen of Atlanta; David Allen and his wife Vonda Allen of Nashville; Beth  Williams of Smyrna, TN.  Her 6 grandchildren -Ann Allen, Chris Allen, Bonnie Campbell and husband Zach Campbell; Sydney Allen, Jacob Williams, and Claire Allen.  Her 2 Great Grandchildren, Reily Cone and Ryker Campbell. Nephew, Stan Kinnard and wife Marcie Kinnard and  their three children, Laney, Lilly and Levi.

Granny, as she was known to all, had a strong Christian faith, believing in Christ our Lord  and walked her life in His footsteps.  Her true joy was raising her children, and grandchildren.  Her love of family knew no boundaries.  She was an accomplished seamstress, a certified elementary school teacher and loved basketball and football.

She will be truly missed by all who knew her.  Many lives have been touched by her kindness.

ARRANGMENTS:

Funeral service will be a graveside service conducted at 11am at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sparta, TN on August 22, 2019.  For any memorial donations, please share in Maxine's name to St Judes Children Hospital.
