Mrs. Mattie Pearl Copeland Henry LaFever, 91, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the NHC in Sparta, Tennessee.
Mrs. LaFever was born to Eddie Wilburn Copeland and Ova Bradley Copeland, August 5, 1918 in White County, Tennessee.
Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, James Cordell and wife, Marla Henry of Fairborn, Ohio; daughter and companion, Thelma Christine Vieira and Joe Casey of Sparta; brother and sister-in-law, Freddie Copeland and wife, Sue Copeland of Sparta; sisters and brother-in-laws, Reba Hayes and husband, Paul Haynes of Sparta; and Linda Ellen Keir and husband, Ray Keir of Maryland; grandchildren and spouses, Charles Weller and wife, Kelle Weller; Kimberly Ann Payne, & James Christopher Payne and Michelle Henry; great grandchildren, Tyler Henry - Payne, Austin Payne, Ian Henry, Will Henry, twin great grandchildren Georgia Pearl Weller and Sophia Rose Weller.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Cordell Henry and Louie LaFever; and a grandson, David Weller.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Copeland's Chapel Church at 11:00 A.M. Officiating will be her brother, Freddie Copeland. Interment will follow in the Copeland Chapel Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Thurman Funeral Home from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm.
