Mary Dibrell Kostelyn, age 88 of Sparta, passed away July 25, 2013 at Life Care in Sparta, Tennessee.
She was born November 10, 1924 in Sparta, Tennessee. Her parents were William Vance Roberts and Minnie Alice Smith Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Howard Spakes, Euklie Cole, and John Kostelytn. Brothers; Carl Roberts and Vivian Roberts. Sisters; Beulah Oakwood, Veralee Wagner, Jessie Rice, Margaret Cole, O.V.Roberts, Christine Swift, Lella Jean Luna, Laquita Joy Judkins, Ruby Nell Edge and Betty Rowena, and step-son John Kostelyn,Jr.
She is survived by her son Donald Reed Cole and wife Marilyn of Doyle; daughters Janet Kostelny of Ga. and Sharon Stanley and husband Cliff of Sparta. Brothers; Robert Roberts, J.V. Roberts and Richard Roberts of Sparta. Sister; Linda McGinnis and Brenda Roberts of Sparta. Grandchildren: Mike Stanley and wife Angie Stanley of Sparta, Candy Phillips and husband Todd Phillips of Sparta, David Cole and April Cole of Walling, Daniel Cole, Douglas Cole, Dustin Cole and Darin Cole of Doyle. Great grandchildren: Krislyn Stanley, Keira Stanley, Autumn Phillips, Summer Phillips, Alyssa Cole, Jasalyn Cole and Jada Cole.
Funeral Sernice will be at Thurman Funeral Home, Friday, July 26, 2013 at 6:00 p.m., officiating will be Bro. Jerry Pullum, Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery Saturday morning 9:00 a.m..
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Friday, July 26, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. till time of the service at 6:00 p.m.
