Mary Elizabeth Johnson, age 85, of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away in the Cookeville Regional Hospital, Thursday, August 16, 2012.
She was born November 25, 1926, Sparta, Tennessee to W. Hershell Lee and Laura Hampton Lee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years, Herbert Johnson; and brother, J.W. Lee.
Survivors include daughter, Gwendolyn Westphal and husband, Steven of Sparta; grandchildren, Chad Westphal and fiancAC., Leia of Algood, and Crystal Cheney and husband, Jacob of Cape Coral, Florida; great-grandson, Evan Cheney of Cape Coral, Florida; sister-in-law, Martha Lee of Sparta.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at Hamptons Crossroads Baptist Church, Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Pastor James Haynes will officiate. Interment will follow in Saylors Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at Hamptons Crossroads Baptist Church, Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m.
