Mary B. (Sallie) Griffin, age 78, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her residence.
Sallie was born February 4, 1936, the daughter of Porter Fulton and Dorothy Fulton of Overton County, TN.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jeff Fulton and Jackie Fulton; sister, Katie Lowes; and companion, Gylnn S. (Chow-Wow) Smith.
She is survived by six children, Tommy Griffin, Porter Griffin, Archie and Kay Griffin, Betty (Bill) Griffin, Barbara (Mike) Griffin and Kathy (Darrell) Menefee ; brothers and sisters; Bill and Sandy Fulton, Malcom & Kathy Fulton, Jimmy and Linda Fulton, Nanny Boldin, Nellie & J.D. Vaughn, Rita Crabtree, Patty &Polly Rednor, Betty Fulton; and special son in law, Tim Sharp; 12 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; special friend , Beverly Coffee.
ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral services will be at Thurman Funeral Home of Sparta, TN, Wednesday, April 23 , 2014 at 1:00 p.m., officiating will be Bro. Wayne Sullivan, with burial in Anderson Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home of Sparta, TN, Tuesday, April 22 , 2014 at 5 pm till 8 pm.
