Martha M. Parsons, of Sparta, TN, age 77, passed away July 25, 2015 at N.H.C. of Sparta.
She was born in Harlan, KY May 30, 1938, the daughter of late Russell and Donna Scott Herron.
Preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Joe Edwin Dorton, second husband, Jack E. Parsons; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son, David Dorton of Sparta; daughter, Debra Torres of Sparta; sister, Faye Hamlin of Sparta; brother, Frank Herron of KY; grandchildren, Julie Iles and Chastity Cowles; 6 great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMETS:
Funeral services will be Wednesday July 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Wednesday July 29, 2015, 9:00 a.m. till time of service.
