Martha Ella (Selby) Harp, age 99, of Sparta, TN, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Life Care Center of Sparta.
Mrs. Harp was born in the Black Oak Community of White County on May 26, 1915. She was the daughter of Alfred Simeon Selby and Sara Elizabeth Mabe Selby.
Preceded in death by parents; husbands, Hershel Dodson and Robert Lee Harp; sisters, Della Mae Carlyle and Ann Selby; brothers, Clyde Selby and Alfred Selby.
Survivors include her sons, Kelly Dodson and Charles Dodson both of Sparta; grandchildren, Candy Fowler, Tracy Lynne Valles, Michael Eugene Dodson, Matthew C Corven, and Heather Birdwell; great-grandchildren, Jacob Conti, Ryan Conti, Kayla Rogers, Chad Fowler, Carli Ballinger, Autumn Birdwell, Nikki Dodson; and several great-great-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at Thurman Funeral Home, Monday, September 8, 2014 at 4 p.m., officiating will be Bro. Tim Franks. Interment to follow at Plainview Cemetery in the Cassville Community.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m.
