Mrs. Magdalene Ellen Gorski, age 82, passed away October 8, 2014 at N. H.C. Healthcare in Sparta
She was born in Mobile, Alabama on July 19, 1932, to Herbert and Ethel Hutton Hicks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Anthony Gorski; daughters, Almeda Thompkins and Colleen Gorski, and sisters, Dorothy Irwin, Frances O'Dell, and Carol Snyder.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Ann Carr (Gordon) of Bainbridge, NY., Elaine Howell (Lee) of Brunswick, GA., Jody Mullins (Tom), Teresa Murdock (Jonathan), and Irline Stewart (Otis) all of Sparta, and Melinda Lull, of Spencer. She is also survived by grandchildren, Trisha Gross, Kristen Parker, Jennifer Scott, Robert Gorski III, Kevin Howell, David Tompkins, Jesse Tompkins, Elizabeth Guilbault, Robert Miller, Gary Modlin, Victor Modlin, Coleen Allen, Stanley Allen, Michael Gorski, Thomas Mullins, Jennifer Coffman, Krysta Murdock, Challen Murdock, Kevin Stewart, Kyle Stewart, and Michael Stewart, Kathleen Garrett, Joey Prater, Glen Prater, and Dexter Lull as well as 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, as well as many many friends, neighbors and loved ones.
ARRANGEMENTS
The family will receive friends at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Friday, October 10, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
Funeral Mass will be at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 11;00 A.M. . Father John Pantuso will officiate. Interment will be at a later date.
