Mae Lawson, age 75, of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at her home.
She was born November 26,1936 in Grayson, Kentucky to Jay Murphy and Arziona Kitchen Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years of marriage, Bill Lawson of Sparta; daughter and son in law, Sharrie Baker and Jack of Sparta; brothers, John Murphy of Indiana and Bill Murphy of Ohio; sister, Betty Braid of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Nikki Trusty, Jennifer Baker and Billy Jack Baker; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Thurman Funeral Home, at 11:00 am with Bro. Dennis Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Lawson's Family Farm Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Friday, January 13, 2012 at Thurman Funeral Home, at 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm.
