Mrs. Louise Yott, age 87, was born July 30, 1923 to Arsie and Mary Young Harris in Eastland Community.
She passed away on July 27, 2011, at the Cookeville Regional Hospital in Cookeville,TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 40 years John Yott, son Bob Yott, grand daughter, Lori Melton, four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by daughter and son in law, Deanna and Darrel Wheatley of Doyle, Son and daughter in law, Bill and Wilma Jo Yott of Cassville, grandchildren, Scerina Maynard, James Yott, Jason Yott, Kenny Yott, Derrick Yott, Brian Wheatley, Amy Collins, Kathy Taylor, Jonathon Yott and Jamie Griffin, several great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 9 pm. Funeral service will be Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Thurman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jimmy Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bon Air Cemetery.
