Linda Turner

Linda Sue Turner, 65, of Cleveland, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.
She had been a Bradley County resident for more than 30 years. She was a retired Bradley Central High School math teacher and an active member of North Cleveland Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother (Nana), sister, friend and educator.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Franklin Lee Turner; and her parents, the Rev. Daniel and Patricia Maples.
She is survived by her son: Christopher Turner, daughter-in-law, Lori Turner, and grandchildren: Evan, Ali, and Erin, as well as David Turner, daughter-in-law, Heather Turner, and grandchildren: Zach and Allison, all of Cleveland. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Honeycutt, of Manchester; and a brother, Ray Maples, of Doyle.
Funeral will be held Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at 6 p.m. at the North Cleveland Baptist Church with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. (Central Time) at Doyle Community Cemetery in Doyle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at North Cleveland Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Open Door Sunday School Class c/o Mission Fund at the North Cleveland Baptist Church.
