Leonard Wayne Murdock

Leonard Wayne Murdock, age 80, a resident of Sparta, TN passed away March 29, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Sparta, TN.

Leonard was born July 10, 1944 in Sparta, TN to the late Ollon A. and Bessie Mae Murdock.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Brenda Gail Hassler Murdock; son, Leonard Lee “Matthew” Murdock; siblings, Martha Roberts, Sue Walker, Nina McBroom, Barbara Hale, George “Sam” Murdock.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Waymon) Eller; grandchildren, Brenda LeeAnn (Jordan) Quast, Nathan Eller, Ashley Murdock, Christopher Murdock; great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Khalil; sister, Doris Henry of Oklahoma; brother, Eston (Dale) Murdock of Sparta.

Also Kimberly and the entire family would like to say a special thank you for the dedication and love that Waymon has shown Leonard through his sickness in every way possible with love.

Arrangements:

Graveside Service will be Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in Highland Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Derrick Cobble.
