Kelly Lynn Cope

January 26, 1965 – August 31, 2022

Kelly Lynn Meisenzahl Cope, 57, of Cookeville, formerly of Sparta, passed away, Wednesday August 31st, 2022, at her home in Cookeville.

Kelly is the daughter of J.T. and Allene Gracey of Sparta.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.T. Gracey and her biological parents, Ronald James Meisenzahl and Patricia Ann Kitchens, as well as her grandparents Luther and Irene Kirby.

Survivors include her mother Allene Gracey and two children Brandon Cope of Sparta and Kara Haney of Sanford FL; one granddaughter Blakelyn Cope; brothers, Kirk Meisenzahl of Sparta and Scott Meisenzahl of Sanford FL, Enoch Sayre of Sanford FL, and Don Sayre of Michigan; special friend, Rob Hodgson of Cookeville; nephew, James Meisenzahl and a host of friends and former coworkers also survive.

Kelly graduated from White County High School in the class of 1984. She continued her studies at the school of cosmetology of Cookeville. Family and friends shall always remember Kelly’s outgoing personality and her incredible smile.

ARRANGMENTS:

Visitation will be Monday September 5, 2022, 7:00 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday September 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Old Zion Cemetery. Officiating will be Roy Whited.
