Joseph Tubb

Joseph Paul Tubb, age 36, passed away May 3, 2021, following an accident in Mobile, AL. He was born on January 4, 1985, in Nashville, TN, and adopted through Agape with great joy by Les and Becky Tubb. He graduated from White County High School in Sparta, TN and Harding University in Searcy, AR. Joseph met Brittney Hall while serving as a youth minister at Cumberland Heights Church of Christ, and they married on Nov 7, 2015. The new couple moved to Mobile, AL, where Joseph served as a worship leader at the Port City Church of Christ. Later he transitioned to a new job with Satellites Unlimited as a dish tech and worshiped and served at Regency Church of Christ. There, two imperfect people grew into a loving couple. Brittney’s one-word description of Joseph was “beautiful.”

Joseph is preceded in death by his grandparents, JR Tubb III and Dorothy Tubb of Sparta; Louis and Jean Ross of Sparta; Sam Jones of Lebanon.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Brittney Tubb; parents, Les and Becky Tubb of Sparta; brother, Daniel Tubb (Romina and son Luca) of Tampa, FL; grandmother, Ola Ross (Tubb) Jones of Sparta; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His family by marriage, mother-in-law, Teresa Hall; father-in-law, Chip Hall (Elvie); sister-in-law, Breanna Hall; brother-in-law, Trey Hall; grandparents, Billy and Carol Geer; and many other relatives and friends.

Please consider that Covid-19 is still among us practice social distancing and the use of and face masks will be required if you do not have a mask they will be available for all in attendance at the church.

Visitation will be Monday, May 10, 2021, from 4:00 PM till 6:00 PM at Cumberland Heights Church of Christ, 1600 Memorial Highway, Doyle, TN.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 10, 2021, at 6:00 PM, Cumberland Heights Church of Christ. Internment at the Cumberland Heights cemetery.
