Johnnie Thomas Robinson, Sr., 82, passed away on November 6, 2015 at Oak View Rehabilitation Center in Orange Park, FL.
Mr. Robinson was born May 4, 1933 to Lemmie Van Robinson and Gurna Lee Luna Robinson in Sparta, TN.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Hallie Rae Howell and Veda Mae Evans ; brothers, Erbie Robinson, Hebron Robinson, Joe Bell Robinson, Floyd Robinson and Gene Robinson. Survivors include his son, Johnny "John" Thomas Robinson Jr. of Layton, Utah and daughter-in-law, Yahnica Robinson of Jacksonville, FL; soul-mate, Jan Robinson of Jacksonville, FL; step-sons, Jimmy Edward Woody and Randall Lee Woody; step-daughter, Rettia Jane Smith; 5 grandchildren, Elijah Dajon Robinson, Keyshawn Landon Robison, Kyah Jenae Robinson, Jordan Caleb Robinson and Jayah Nicole Robinson; 11 step-grandchildren, Sabrina, Sahavaun, Shawn, Justin. Tyara, James, Carlie, Devon, Jimmy, Cody and Micheal, and several step great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral services will be at 11 :00 a.m., Wednesday November 11, 2015, at Thurman Funeral Home, officiating will be Bro. Dennis Wood, with burial in Old New Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Tuesday November 10, 2015, at the funeral home.
