James (Jim) Roberts

James (Jim) Mulcay Roberts, 79 age, passed away Saturday, 9/7/2019, Life Care Center of Sparta.

Jim was born May 8, 1940 in White County, Tennessee to Homer Whitley Roberts, Sr. and Bessie Mary Jane Baker Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Homer Whitley Jr., John Harvey Roberts Sr. Charles Thomas, Wilfred Terry, Herman Clay, Clarence Vaughn, Larry Dean, and Joseph Michael; sisters, Arrie Mae Jernigan, Hazel Venola Roberts and Wanda Louise McGhee.

Survivors include brothers, Homer Ray Roberts and wife Cathie, Fred Rascoe Roberts and wife Bonnie, and Willard Oliver Roberts; sisters, Wilma Jeanne Kirby, Opal Virginia Williams, Mary Frances Whitley and husband Harlan; Children, Michele Roberts, James Roberts, and Terri Marquez; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Arrangements:

The family has requested a private graveside burial.
