James R. "Ron" Lawson, age 66, of Sparta, TN, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at his home.
He was born January 28, 1949 in Eastland to Scott William Lawson and Mary Alice Smith Lawson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Troy Lawson, Rick Lawson and Tim Lawson and sisters, Willie Ann Allen and Kay Bolin.
Mr.Lawson served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky Ann Lawson; daughter, Teresa Ann Lawson; 2 step-daughters, Sarah Leonhart and Dave and Shawna Nock; siblings, Bus Lawson and wife Betty, Marie Underwood and husband Lyle, Sandy Crabtree and husband Tony, Randy Lawson and wife Selma, Scotty Lawson and wife Brenda, Robert Lawson and wife Christine, Tommy Lawson, Josephine O'Neal and husband Ellis and Deb Reeves and husband Roger; 8 step-grandchildren, Scott, Kaden, Willow, Jorja, Zoe Belle, Myles, Meadow and Sophia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
ARRANGEMETS:
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be at Thurman Funeral Home on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Greg O'Neal will be officiating. Burial will be at Eastland Cemetery following the services.
