Mrs. Isibella Louise Cummins, age 80, passed away December 30, 2009 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Cummins was born October 16, 1929 in Hickory Grove, South Carolina to Robert Lester Bell and Addie Miller Bell.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Mrs. Cummins attended the Faith Harvest Church of God in Cookeville.
Survivors include; three daughters Freida Davis and husband Russian of Sparta, TN; Cindy Gaffney and husband Andy of New Jersey; Ann Byrd and husband Mickey of North Carolina; two sons Richard Tarkington and wife Jeannie of North Carolina and Andrew Cummins and wife Jackie of Sparta, TN. Two sisters Peggy Carr and husband George; Margaret Pursley and husband Sonny; Three brothers Dean Bell and wife Matril; Carl Bell and wife Becky; Buddy Bell and wife Alieen all of South Carolina. 16 Grandchildren 27 Great grandchildren.Several beloved nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Addie Bell. Her loving husband Fred Cummins. One daughter Marie Cardwell. One granddaughter Missy Sockwell. Two sisters Ruth Wright and Hazel Walker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010, at Thurman Funeral Home at 11a.m. Officiating will be Bro. Tony Gentry. Interment will follow in the Eastland Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Friday, January 1, 2010 at
Thurman Funeral Home from 5pm till 8 pm.
