Mrs. Ida Mae Judd Dodson, age 87, a resident of Sparta, passed away January 9, 2013 at Highlands Medical Center in Sparta. She was born September 2, 1925 in Putnam County, Tennessee, to James Nelson Judd and Cora Ann Gordon Judd.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Clodus Dodson; son, Anthony Bruce Dodson; grandsons, James Albert Boldin and David Perry Henry; siblings, James Nelson Judd Jr., Myrtle LaFever, Cora Elizabeth Judd, John Henry Judd and infant sister.
She is survived by her children, Paulette Henry and husband Glenn of Monterey, Brenda Boldin, James Keith Dodson and wife Becky all of Sparta, Treva Ann Brown Mooneyham of Spencer and Harold Dodson and wife Janice of Cookeville; siblings, Anna Lee Mahue, Judy Judd Liebl and James Riddley Judd; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMETS
Funeral services will be at the Thurman Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 12, 2013. Bro. Elmore Judd, Bro. James Brown and Bro. Dillard Johnson will officiate. Interment will be at Board Valley Cemetery in Sparta.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Thurman Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
