Hubert Burton

Hubert "Buzz" Burton, age 85, of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at home in Sparta, Tennessee.
He was born July 16, 1926 in Jackson County, Tennessee to Nugene Burton and Nevie Frances Graham Burton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Jerry Burton and Joyce Conley; and brother Johnnie Burton. Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years, Emogene Burton of Sparta; sons, Cordell Burton and wife Sandra and Darrell Burton and wife Katie all of Sparta; daughters, Glenda Marshall and husband George, Kathy Duncan and husband Donnie; and Gayle Murdock and husband Mike all of Sparta; brother, Bonnie Gene Burton and wife Betty of Jackson County; sister, Annell Sircy of Smith County; 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Thurman Funeral Home, at 11:00 am with Bro. Freddie Copeland and Bro. Ray Young officiating. Interment will follow in the Upper Cherry Creek Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Thurman Funeral Home, at 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm.
