Mr. Herbert Paul Yott, age 61, was born January 11, 1949, to Paul Lewis Yott and Wilma Gennell Roberts Yott in Charleston, West Virginia. He passed away on November 26, 2010 at his residence in Sparta.
Mr. Yott served our country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his loving wife Lecel Yott of Sparta; son, Clifton Thor Yott of Sparta; daughter, Brandy Michell McCollum of Oxford, AL; sister, Paulette Yott of Sparta; grandchildren Courtnie Yott, David Allen Mc Ginty, Brandon Yott, Scotty McCollum Jr., Brandon McCollum, Astrid Yott and Liberty McCollum.
Mr. Yott was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jackie Alan Yott.
The family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 5:00 P. M. until time of services at 7:00 P. M. Funeral services will be held at Thurman Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 21, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. . Officiating will be Minister Iris Thompson. Interment will be private for family.
