Gladys Irene Davis Cayce Hardie, age 94, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at NHC of Sparta.
She was born March 20, 1922 to Roderick Random Davis and Celia Caldonia Howell Davis in the Burgess Falls Community of White County.
She worked at Thomas Industries for many years. She also was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Celia Paulette Cayce LaVoie, one daughter in law, Debra (Duke) Cayce, three brothers, Orbie Rhead Davis, Solomon Eli Davis and Jimmie Rodgers Davis.
She is survived by two sons, Steve (Jewell) Cayce and Randy Cayce; two daughters, Deborah (Lanny) Cope and Tena (Tommy) Roberts all of White County; nine grandchildren, Brett Durham, Andrea (Terry) Geer, Joel Cart (Martha) Cayce, C.K. (Josh) Taylor, Brandy Cope, Cayce (Sara) Cope, Spencer Wade Cayce, Chad (Carrie) Cayce, and Deanna (Andrew) Champion; seven great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS
Graveside services will be at Elrod Cemetery at 11 :00 A.M., Tuesday, June 28, 2016
Officiating will be Bro. Bobby Wilhite, and burial will follow in the Elrod Cemetery.
