Freddie Dodson

Mr. Freddie W. Dodson, age 50, passed away January 6, 2010 at Cumberland Medical Center.
Mr. Dodson was born June 18, 1959 in Spencer, Tennessee to James Wilder and Melvina Dodson.
He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Mr. Dodson was a member of Crossville First Free Will Baptist Church. He also sang in the gospel group Midnight Cry.
Survivors include; Wife Varina Kirby Dodson of Crossville TN; two children Emily and Trevor Dodson of Crossville, TN; One brother James Wilder Dodson Jr. and wife Shirley of Spencer TN; Two sisters Florene Wyatt and husband Danny of Crossville Tn, LeeAnn Smith of Pikeville,TN. Several beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Wilder Dodson and Melvina Dodson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Crossville First Free Will Baptist Church at 12 noon. Officiating will be Bro. Mike McCoy. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Sparta, TN.
Family will receive friends Friday, January 8, 2010 at Crossville First Free Will Baptist Church from 6pm till 9pm. Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements in Sparta, Tennessee.
