Frances Young
September 3, 1922 — September 19, 2015
Mrs. Frances Olivia Knowles Young, 93, passed away on Saturday September 19, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Young was born on September 3, 1922 in Benton, AK. She was the daughter of Wesley Taylor Knowles and Med Belle Crawford Knowles.
Mrs. Young was a librarian and archivist for the State of TN, a teacher, and a member of The Shady Grove Methodist Church. She was also an avid volunteer for White Co. School System.
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her parents, husband Calvin Brigham Young, grandson, Charles Calvin "C.C." Young, grandson in law, Keith Wayne Clark and Brother George Knowles.
Survivor's include one son Brigham Taylor Young, Sr.; two grandchildren, Dena Clark and special friend Mitch Davis and Brigham Taylor "B.T." Young, Jr. and wife Janice Young; four great grandchildren, Brooklyn Young, Stephen Clark, Ashlyn Young, and Isaiah Young; and sister in law, Mildred Knowles.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 2 pm at The Shady Grove Methodist Church.
