Elise Sota Selby Dodson Evans age 79, passed away on March 3, 2017 at Life Care of Sparta.
Mrs. Evans spent her life caring for others as a CNA and homemaker.
She was a loving mother and a wonderful friend to many. Born February 28,1938, to Will and Lizzie Selby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first love Horace Clinton Dodson, loving husband Talmadge Dwight Evans, and siblings Willene Randolph, Irene Taylor, Bethel Selby, and Larry Selby.
Survivors include her loving children: Danny Dodson and wife Debbie, Dale Dodson and wife Janet, Darwin Dodson, Donna Kudla, Darlene Hall and Husband Donnie, James Dodson and wife Patty. Grandchildren: Tanya Krantz, Clinton Dodson, Christal Dodson, Janell Murray, Miranda Baker, Rachelle Dodson, Dillard Dodson, Aaron Dodson, Tasha Johnson, Justin Collins, Amanda Hall, Amber Hall, Jordon Dodson, Kayla Hawkins and 21 Great-Grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS
Funeral Service will be Tuesday March 7, 2017.at Thurman Funeral Home, at 11:00 am.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Monday March 6, 2017 at 5:00 pm- 8:00 pm.
Internment will be at Board Valley Freewill Baptist.
Pastor Harold Robinson will perform the service.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Dodson, Justin Collins, Clinton Dodson, David Dodson, Dillard Dodson, and Jordan Dodson.
