Mrs. Edna Jewell Haley, age 90, of Sparta passed away August 12, 2011 at N. H. C. of Sparta, with her family.
Mrs. Haley was born February 21, 1921 in White County to Jesse Clemons and Bessie Stults Clemons..
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George Haley; son, Dyane Cole; brother, Carl Clemons; sisters Edith Brown and Macie Johnson.. Survivors include daughters; Janie Gilbert of Smithville, TN., and Charlene Austin of Rock Island, TN.; brothers, Willie Lee Clemons of Sparta, TN., and Jesse Clemons of Crossville, TN.; granddaughter, Lisa Robinson ; grandsons Tony Ray Young, Howard Young, and Shad Wilhite all of Sparta. Also surviving are great grandchildren; Ryan Robinson, Hanna Young, Hailie Young, and Shelby Young-Johnson.
Funeral will be Sunday, August 14, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Thurman Funeral Home Chapel . Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
