Earlene Bumbalough Stamps, age 74, of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012.
She was born March 17, 1938, Putnam County, Tennessee to Noah Bumbalough and Lela Randolph Bumbalough.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 28 years, Dewey Stamps, who served his country in the United States Army in World War II; 2 sisters, Vernese McCowan and Elise Kernell; 3 brothers, Odell Bumbalough, Hershel Bumbalough and Audie Lee Bumbalough. Survivors include daughter and son in law, Patricia Ann and Richard Nance of Dunlap; son and daughter in law, Mark Anthony and Mary Ruth Stamps of Sparta; and daughter and son in law Paula Renee and Larry Graham of Sparta; sister, Elizabeth Brown of Michigan; 9 grandchildren, Laurie Cotter, Sam Neely, Tory Neely, Brandon Stamps, Leslie Sanders, Kandace Stamps, Logan Stamps, Kimberly Graham and Tiffany Lambert; 13 great grandchildren, Alex Cotter, Bre Cotter, Bryon Neely, Paige Neely, Bryce Neely, Braxton Neely, Blake Neely, Savannah Neely, William Neely, T. J. Neely Kaden Sanders, Kaylee Sanders and Kolton Sanders; Several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements:
Funeral services will be held at Thurman Funeral Home, Monday, November 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., Bro. Elmore Judd will officiate. Interment will follow in Bohannon Cemetery in Putnam County.
Family will receive friends at Thurman Funeral Home, Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 3 p.m till 7 p.m.
