Mr. Earl Denton Mason, age 71 was born December 12, 1937 to Richard Denton Mason and Mary Iva Savage Mason in Quebeck, Tennessee.
He passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Clyde Prentiss Mason and Roy Ernest Mason, and two great grandsons Ty and Levi Ogle.
His survivors includes wife of 15 years Carolyn Naomi Hankins Sullivan Mason of Quebeck, sons Richard Earl Mason and wife Teresa of Rock Island and Timothy Alan Mason and wife Debbie of Doyle, daughter Tammy Frances Kelly of Manchester, step son Timothy Dale Sullivan and wife Michelle of Sparta, ten grandchildren , eleven great grandchildren and two sisters Clata Mae Richardson and Janie Ruth Luna.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Thurman Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Bobby Wilhite. Interment will be in the Skurlock Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Friday, November 6, 2009 at Thurman Funeral Home from 6 pm till 9 pm. Also Saturday viewing will begin at 7 am till time of service.
