Donald Howard

Donald “Squeaky” Lee Howard, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga at the age of 80.

Born November 15, 1937 to Henry Patterson Howard and Essie Norris Howard.

Squeaky was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Jackie Wayne Howard and Elmer Ray Howard; and sisters, Retha Pirtle and Jean Cope.

Squeaky had worked for many years as a custodian at LUNA & SON. He enjoyed riding his Scooter around town and visiting with everyone in town. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Howard Pitts; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Sue Howard; sister, Barbara Neal all of Sparta; several nephews and nieces and extended family at Luna & Son.

ARRANGEMENTS

Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. James Rittenberry. Interment will follow in the Old New Hope Cemetery. Pall bearers, Mark Fisher, Steven Howard, Mike Howard, Jerry Howard, Billy Joe Howard and Philip Howard.
