Mr. Clayton Ray Hollingsworth, age 93 , passed away on November 18, 2017 at NHC in Sparta, Tennessee.
Born November 23, 1923 to Luther Elbert Hollingsworth and Ora Womack Hollingsworth in Doyle, Tennessee.
Mr. Hollingsworth served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. After is service he returned home to his family. He enjoyed his faming, cattle, outdoors, and his loving family. Mr. Hollingsworth also drove a school bus for our White County area for several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Josephine Phifer Hollingsworth; brothers Carl and Keith Hollingsworth.
He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Clayton E. Hollingsworth and wife Elaine of Sparta; brother, Joe Hollingsworth of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Louise Hollingsworth of Doyle; nephew, Phillip Hollingsworth and Chuck Hollingsworth.
ARRANGEMENTS
The family will receive friends at Greenwood Baptist Church, Monday, November 20, 2017 at 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.
Funeral services will be at Greenwood Baptist Church, Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. Officiating will be Bro. Tracy Curtis. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
