Clara Opal Kirby

Clara Opal Kirby, Age 94, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. At NHC of Sparta in Sparta, TN.

She was born on July 23, 1930 in Sparta, TN to the late Allen and Easter Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Kirby; parents; siblings, Bud Richardson, Jimmy Richardson, Buster Richardson; children, Horace Eugene Kirby, Bruce Leon Kirby, James Robert Kirby, Vickie Ann Krumroy, Tamera Gean Reams.

Survivors include her children, Connie Meadows, Larry Wayne Kirby, Kenneth Andrew Kirby; Several grandchildren, also several great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements:

Visitation will be Tuesday January 28, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. at Thurman Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday January 28, 2025 starting at 12:00 pm at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment at Glade Creek Cemetery. Officiating will be Barry Whiteaker.
