Christopher (Chris) Eugene Rice, age 53 of Sparta, TN, passed away August 5, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Sparta, TN on February 22,1962, to Harold Eugene Rice and Nancy Sue Thompson Vaughn.
Survivors include his mother, Nancy Vaughn and husband Jewell of McMinnville; father, Harold Rice and wife Ann of Sparta; brother, Todd Rice and wife Brigette of Sparta; Niece, Alyssa Rice Masters and husband Aaron; nephew, Bronson Rice; great niece, Lynnleigh Masters and great nephew, Parker Masters; step brothers, Tim Vaughn and Sam Richardson; step sisters, Mechelle Southern and Shelia Dell; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS:
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Harold Robinson and Bro. Burl Rice. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery. The family will receives friends Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home .
