Christine Moody

Mrs. Christine Brock Flatt Moody, age 85 passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 at NHC of Sparta. She was born on June 21, 1924 in White County to James Brock and Flora Bohannon Brock.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Charlie Lee Flatt and John Thomas Moody, daughter, Linda Gail Flatt, son, Jacky Lee Flatt, sisters, Clara Ledford, Pauline Anderson, Iva Mayfield, Nella Mae Broom, Fiedel Brock and Mary Brock, and brothers, Carl Brock and Thaddeus Brock.
Mrs. Moody is survived by her children, Jerry Flatt and wife Linda of Hendersonville, Rick Flatt and wife Teresa of Mt. Juliet, TN, Michael Flatt and wife Kathy and Jim Flatt and wife Kathryn Flatt both of Sparta, TN ; brother, James Harold Brock of Sparta,TN; sister, Elizabeth Stewart of Sparta, TN; ten grandchildren, and thirteen Great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home, with interment in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Jack Farley. Family will receive friends at Thurman's, Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m.
