Chiyo Prater, 75, passed away on November 20, 2015 at her home in Sparta.
Mrs. Prater was born November 3, 1940 to Moshin Morita and Tsuru Morita in Iisa, Rota, Mariana Islands.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Prater of Sparta, TN; children, Johnny Prater of Sparta, TN, Christina Gendreau and husband Mike of San Diego, CA and Jimmy M. Prater of Sparta, TN; brother, Megumu Morita; sisters, Mitsue Odonchi and Kikue Taira; two grandchildren, Kristin Gendreau and Melissa Gendreau.
ARRANGEMENTS
Graveside services will be at 10 :00 a.m., Tuesday November 24, 2015, at Old Union cemetery, officiating will be Bro. Randy Garrell.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. ,Monday November 23, 2015, at the funeral home.
