He is preceded in death by brothers, Jeff Goins and James Nava; father, Donald Goins, and mother, Nancy Goins.

He is survived by sisters; Kimberly Newby of McMinnville, Tennessee. Sephia Johnston of Boise, Idaho; longtime partner, Sheila Thomas.

The family has elected cremation with a graveside service at a later date.
